The word karma is a Sanskrit word (kamma in Pali) which simple means “action.” The term, “karmic cause” is based on the law of cause and effect. This means an individual having done or thought something for which they would either reap the benefits or pay a debt. Karmic cause involves deeper levels of the mind including the psychic.
God and the reality of karma
God does not necessarily punish through karma. This means at some point in an individual’s life they were not sufficiently evolved consciously enough to realize they were going against a law of nature and life. In most cases karma is a result of something that has happened in the present life although it is possible actions from a previous life can have an effect on the present.
The great Carl Jung
In regards to solving problems psychologist Carl Jung said, “One doesn’t solve problems; one outgrows them.” Carl Jung’s position along with removing the karmic cause of a problem is that an individual must also grow in consciousness. The best time to deal with a problem is at the very first sign of it. In order to do this you must be calm and self-assured that no matter what the problem it can be dealt with spiritually. There can be other ways in dealing with the problem such as physical actions but a problem must be outgrown for further progress within oneself.

Technique to avoiding negative karma
The aim and purpose of the consciousness raising technique is to remove a problem as is arises in an individual. This is done by raising the consciousness level of an individual to a vibratory level that is above the perceived problem being dealt with. The basic steps in the practice of the karmic cause removal technique are as follows;
· Go into a light state of meditation
· Once relaxed stimulate your mind with the following affirmation:
“I now direct my mind to that place within my mind that contains the karmic cause behind my present problem.”
· After, relax and wait a few moments
· Now, keep repeating the same affirmation to yourself slowly and deliberately to yourself until you intuitively know that it has taken effect:
“The healing God-power of my mind has removed the karmic cause of my problem from my mind. For this, I give thanks, and so it is!”
The reality of karma
Karma affects every portion of one’s life through the action of body, speech, and mind. This means the doer of action will affect not only themselves but the vibrational reality of those around them as well. The effects of karma can be perceived as wonderful or cataclysmic dependent upon the vibratory action that is given and thus received. An individual would find it well to be gracious and feel gratitude as not only a mindset but as a tool to cultivate our emotions and desires. This is because EVERY single emotion or desire we experience has the ability to create negative or positive karma. This means once gratitude is mastered internally we can then express externally with others in a manner that will not only deter negative karma but will also reduce built up karma through the vibration of momentum.
